Anzac March and Dawn Service

MARCH ON SUNDAY 14th APRIL 2019


The March commences at 24 West Market Street at 2.30 pm. The parade consists of the Light Horse, Hawkesbury District Concert Band, Jeeps carrying Veterans, Richmond RSL Sub Branch, Windsor and District RSL Sub Branch, Descendants of Veterans, RAAF Base Richmond serving members, Air League, 336SQN Australian Air Force Cadets, Scouts, Guides, some schools and more.

A Commemorative Service will follow at Richmond War Memorial, East Market Street.

Members of the public who are a descendant of a former Veteran, of any conflict, and would like to participate in the March are asked to be in West Market Street by 2:15pm to form up behind the 'Descendant Banner' wearing the medals of their Veteran (on right side), and/or carrying a photo or displaying the name of their Veteran.

Following the Commemorative Service, members of the public are invited back to the Richmond RSL Sub-Branch for light refreshments.
 

ANZAC DAY DAWN SERVICE ON THURSDAY 25th APRIL 2019


The community is invited to join members of Richmond RSL Sub-branch in solemn observation of the Dawn Service at 4:45am for a 5am start at the Richmond War Memorial in Richmond Park.
The Lions Club will be providing members of the public breakfast, at a small cost (gold coin donation), following the Service.
