Hawkesbury Living Health & Wellbeing

The Hawkesbury Health & Wellbeing program is a Richmond Club initiative that has been developed to improve the lives of local residents through the offering of services needed by our community, including:

Welfare Transport to ensure members can get to medial specialist appointments at no cost to the member.

Community Education through seminars, workshops and information on health, wellbeing, fitness and personal needs.

Volunteer Program to serve the needs of our local people using local people looking for a valuable way to continue social interaction in our community.

Greif Counseling & Friendship Group for the families of nursing home residents and others in need.

Hawkesbury Living Cancer Foundation bringing needed services to local people within our own local area

Wheelchair Loan Service for people needing long term loan of a wheelchair but unable to afford rental or other sources.

Welfare Officer for those needing assistance or advice on where to go for help

Heartmoves – A fitness program for people over 55 trying to get back into regular exercise.

Seniors Fitness Programs are available through Active8 at susidised prices to encourage senior members of our community to remain fit and active.

Seniors Bus Trips are held regularly at little or no cost for members to enjoy.

Health Information Guides are now available for your information at Reception and cover a range of interesting topics.

Community Transport – our buses are used free of charge by over 160 local community groups each year.
