Frequently Asked QuestionsI have recieved a phone call from the Club asking to update my membership details. Is this a genuine call? (September 2016)
We are currently in the process of updating our membership database to ensure that we can keep you informed and up to date with what is happening at the club. To do this, we have established a call centre that will assist us in reaching our 16,000 plus members. Members will receive a courtesy call in the coming weeks asking them to update their membership details. This call is genuine and your privacy is assured.
What should I wear when visiting my Club?
We are always happy to see our members and guests; however we request that your appearance be clean, tidy and respectful at all times. Click here for more information on what is not acceptable for entry to Richmond Club.
Why do non-members need to show ID with an address?
This is to prove where they live. Under the registered Clubs Act anyone residing within a 5 km radius of a registered club needs to be a member in order to enter the Club.
Members can sign guests in, however the guest needs to show proof of identity and residency.
Anyone living more than 5 km from a Club is granted temporary membership status for their visit and must show proof of identity.
Can we bring our own food to the Club?
Excepting infants and those with medical conditions, food cannot be brought into the club to be consumed on the premises. Please check with Reception if you have further concerns.
When will we be able to use our Richmond Club cards at Richmond Golf Club to gain points and pay by points?
You may use your Richmond Club membership card at Bistro Smiles located in the Golf Club. The Pro Shop and bar operate on a different system which means Richmond Club cards cannot be used there.
Golf Club members currently get competition winnings or prizes put on their Golf Club cards which can be used in the Pro Shop and the bar. These two systems will be compatible in the very near future.
